Elf cards

The Rauma Maritime Museum is home to Krono, the ship owner elf, and the Old Town Hall is home to Hildebrand, the mascot elf. The elf characters were created based on an idea by Erja Koski with the help of a youth workshop.

According to legend, skilled Christmas elves arrived at the port of Rauma from the seas long ago. They settled in the nooks and crannies of Rauma's wooden houses and decided to stay permanently to take care of the town. The elves could see into the future and knew that the town would offer joy and warmth.
