It has been 100 years since Eino Leino’s death, and this milestone will be celebrated at Rauma Hall through the power of moving music and poetry.
The Rauma Orchestra and soloist Markku Pekonen will bring Leino’s timeless poems to life through compositions that convey the longing, beauty, and strength of the Finnish spirit. The evening will feature both beloved classics and rarer works, whose themes draw from nature, love, and life’s profound emotions.
Alongside the music, the experience will be enriched by Nina Rintala, whose sensitive yet powerful interpretation brings a new, moving dimension to Leino’s words.
